Wolff Excavating in Utah is seeking an experienced CDL A Truck Driver for dump truck, side dump, and heavy equipment transport. Local work and home daily with occasional out-of-town assignments.

With over 40 years in heavy civil construction, we value safe, dependable, hands-on drivers who can operate a standard transmission and fifth wheel and help keep excavation and utility projects moving.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with medical card required.
• Experience in construction truck driving.
• Experience transporting heavy equipment.
• Able to operate standard transmission and fifth wheel.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds.
• Able to work 40–50 hours weekly.
• Must pass DOT drug/alcohol tests and have good safety history.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck (26,000 pounds GVW and up): primarily dump truck, side dump, and transport of heavy equipment.
• Properly track and document activity.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks/trailers.
• Physical labor as needed.
• Abide by all local, state, and federal regulations and company safety procedures.

Construction Truck Driver (CDL A)

Wolff Excavating is hiring an experienced CDL A Truck Driver for dump truck, side dump, and heavy equipment transport. Local work and home daily, with occasional out-of-town assignments.

With over 40 years in heavy civil construction, we are known for high-quality site development, grading, trenching, and utility installation. This role is ideal for a safe, dependable and hands-on driver with construction experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck (26,000 pounds GVW and up): primarily dump truck, side dump, and transport of heavy equipment.
• Properly track and document activity
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks/trailers
• Physical labor as needed
• Abide by all local, state, and federal regulations and company safety procedures

Qualifications

• Licensed as Class A Commercial Driver's License, with medical card
• Experienced in construction truck driving
• Experienced in transporting heavy equipment
• Certified to operate a standard transmission and fifth wheel
• Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting 50+ pounds
• Can routinely work 40-50 hours per weekHave reliable transportation
• Upon job offer, must pass compliance standards, including DOT drug and alcohol tests, safe driving history, FMCSA query, and good safety history with prior employers
• Must not be under 21 years of age
