Baptist Health Princeton Hospital is seeking a PRN SICU Nights RN to deliver patient-centered nursing care in a high-acuity environment. You will assess needs, plan and revise care, and advocate for patients and families while maintaining age-appropriate competencies.

Responsibilities include leading teams, documenting accurately, and participating in quality improvement. Alabama RN licensure and BLS are required, with ongoing professional development encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; eligible for Alabama RN license.
• Maintains current State of Alabama RN license and BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Responsabilités

• Assesses patient needs, develops and revises individualized care plans, monitors progress, prioritizes care, and advocates for patients and families.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate competency for unit care and equipment use.
• Functions as preceptor, charge nurse, educator, or clinician; coordinates care and communicates with the team.
• Models professional behavior, upholds ethical standards, and fosters respectful relationships.
• Maintains accurate patient records and adheres to regulatory policies and hospital guidelines.
• Pursues professional development, mentors staff and students, and partners with leadership on growth needs.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and applies evidence-based practice to resolve issues.
• Ensures efficient use of supplies and maintains a clean, organized work area.
