Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs, develops and revises care plans, monitors progress, prioritizes care, and advocates for patients and families.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate competency for unit care, including equipment use and growth/development principles.
• Functions as preceptor, charge nurse, educator, or clinician; coordinates care and communicates with interdisciplinary teams.
• Models professional behavior, upholds legal/ethical standards, and fosters respectful relationships.
• Maintains accurate patient records meeting regulatory standards and hospital policies.
