Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, part of NYU Langone Health, is seeking a Physician Assistant in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). This full-time role requires NY licensure, BLS, DEA, and at least 1 year of related experience, with opportunities to provide high-acuity care in a dynamic teaching hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Currently Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of New York.
• Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
• DEA Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in the SICU and related subspecialties.
• Follow established standards, procedures, and practices; communicate orders to nursing staff.
• Perform rounds and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
• Document encounters and maintain patient records for quality and reimbursement.
• Attend departmental meetings and participate in quality improvement activities.
