Job summary

Advocate Health in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our SICU unit. This full-time position offers 36 hours per week, with 24-hour option on Fridays and Saturdays, including 1900-0700 night shifts.

Under the supervision of an RN, you will provide basic patient care, perform delegated tasks, and ensure respectful, holistic treatment of patients and families. Must meet state CNA requirements and BLS within 45 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/HSED.
• CNA in good standing on State Registry.
• CPR/BLS certification within 45 days.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; use lifting equipment for heavier lifts with assistance.

• Provide basic, patient-focused care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Perform delegated tasks to support patient care and safety.
• Ensure patients and families are treated with dignity and respect.
