Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Des Moines, IA is seeking a responsible Shuttle & Transport Driver. This part-time role focuses on safe, timely transportation for beneficiaries and staff while upholding The Salvation Army's standards.

You will transport participants to work therapy assignments, move personnel for official business, deliver packages, plan daily routes, ensure vehicle safety, load and unload deliveries, and secure the vehicle at day’s end, all while remaining courteous and

Qualifications

• At least two years licensed driving experience.
• Passing grade on the "Coaching the Experienced Driver" self-study course (or willing to complete).
• Valid driver's license to operate location's truck types.
• Clear MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) report.
• Strong communication skills with customers and helpers.
• Basic math skills.
