At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, a responsible and courteous Shuttle & Transport Driver is needed to transport beneficiaries and employees while representing The Salvation Army with professionalism. This role emphasizes safe and timely transportation services and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities include transporting program participants and staff, delivering packages, planning routes, ensuring passenger safety and courtesy, and supporting the mission of The Salvation Army.

Responsibilities

• Transport program participants to and from work therapy assignments
• Transport Salvation Army personnel for official business
• Deliver packages and inter-office mail as requested
• Plan and execute daily route coverage efficiently
• Ensure safety and security of assigned vehicle
• Responsible for loading and unloading during deliveries
• Secure vehicle at end of day
• Ensure all passengers are treated courteously
• Support the mission of The Salvation Army

Location: Des Moines, IA
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: 20 hours per week. Must have flexible scheduling, Monday - Saturday
