Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is seeking a Shuttle Bus Attendant to operate shuttle services and transport passengers safely at our Chicago area location. The role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 75 pounds, and maintaining a neat uniform at all times.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, logging trips, aiding disabled passengers, and assisting customers with inquiries. Availability for third shift and weekends may be required; valid driver’s license and DMV record are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires valid state driver’s license and acceptable DMV record.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Availability for special shifts; third shift and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle buses safely and ensure passenger transport.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness; fuel as needed; log trips.
• Assist disabled passengers and answer customer questions; direct to Facility Manager when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of garage areas, major streets, landmarks, and freeways.
• Assist with luggage handling when applicable and substitute for cashiers/valets when needed.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager and communicate issues to garage staff.
