Job summary

Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach is seeking a Shuttle driver to transport guests to and from the property and nearby destinations. You will handle luggage, greet guests, and maintain vehicle cleanliness while providing excellent hospitality to guests at a prime Myrtle Beach location.

This is a Part Time position with a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends. Benefits include Free Health Club Membership, Free Lunch, and discounted travel program perks for team members and their families.

Responsibilities

• Complies with traffic regulations while transporting guests to and from the property or other designated site.
• Lifts luggage and packages from vehicles and places items on baggage carts or conveyors.
• Listens and responds to customer and employee inquiries for assistance.
• Greets guests with a friendly and sincere welcome.
• Remains calm and alert during emergencies or heavy hotel activity and handles local driving challenges.
• Clearly communicates hotel features and services to guests.
• Maintains an alert and attentive demeanor.
• Keeps the hotel van clean, including washing when appropriate.
• Takes the van for servicing and fueling as required.
• Assists as Door Person or Bell Captain when needed.

Description

As a Shuttle driver, you will be using property-designated vehicles to transport guests to and from their destinations such as local restaurants, shopping centers, airport, sporting events, convention centers, etc. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

• Comprehends and abides by all traffic regulations while transporting customers to and from the property or other designated site.
• Lifts luggage, packages and boxes from cars, buses, vans and carts, placing items on the ground, onto baggage carts, conveyors or other vehicles.
• Listens, understands and responds immediately to customer and employee inquiries and requests for assistance.
• Greets customers with a friendly and sincere welcome.
• Remains calm and alert especially during emergencies or heavy hotel activity and handles complications from driving in the local community.
• Clearly communicates the features, and services of the hotel facilities.
• Maintains an alert and attentive demeanor.
• Maintains cleanliness of the hotel van by cleaning and washing it when appropriate.
• Takes van for periodic servicing and fueling as required.
• Other duties as assigned such as assisting as Door Person or Bell Captain when necessary.
