Job summary

FedEx Logistics is hiring for a shuttle driver role in Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, sorting packages, and operating a light-weight vehicle under 10,000 lb gross weight. The shift runs early mornings across Mon-Tue-Sat, with coverage for missort exchanges when required.

Qualifications

• Complete basic and recurrency training.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and move heavy packages with assistance.
• Able to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and directions in FMCSA context.

Responsibilities

• Performs shuttle functions using a vehicle under 10,000 lb gross weight; loads and unloads aircraft/vehicles; sorts packages.
• Mon 04:45-13:30, Tues-Sat 04:45-09:30; covers missort exchange when needed.
• Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge.

Mon 04:45-13:30 Tues-Sat 0:445-09:30. Also covers missort exchange when needed. Must be able to get a SIDA badge

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance from another person. Ability to work with power and hand tools. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.Driver's vehicle not covered under section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
