Job summary

Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport hotel guests and associates around the resort property and greet guests at the entrance. The 3pm–11pm shift supports our guests with a memorable first impression and impeccable service.

Responsibilities include driving the shuttle, ensuring vehicle cleanliness, daily inspections, and maintaining safety logs. A friendly, customer-focused attitude and a valid NC Class C license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid Class C North Carolina Driver's License.
• Flexible schedule; including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Drive shuttle bus to and from designated destinations in a timely manner.
• Greet guests and provide on boarding assistance.
• Maintain 4-Star/4-Diamond standards of guest service.
• Inspect vehicle daily and report any safety concerns to management.
• Maintain accurate log of vehicle maintenance and services rendered.
• Assist in keeping front entrance clean and tidy.
• Understand all emergency procedures.

$500 Sign On Bonus paid across 90 days. $125 after 30 days, $125 after 60 days, $250 after 90 days.

Overall:

To transport hotel guests & associates to designated destinations around the resort property. When not providing transportation services, this role will be staged at the entrance of the resort where they will greet guests, creating a memorable first impression. Shift 3pm-11pm.

Responsibilities:

• Drive shuttle bus to and from designated destinations in a timely manner
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speed in difficult situations, such as inclement weather and heavy traffic
• Greet guests and provide on boarding assistance
• Ensure cleanliness of the vehicle; including interior and exterior
• Inspect vehicle daily and report any damage or safety concerns immediately to management
• Maintain accurate log of vehicle maintenance
• Report any safety concern immediately to management
• Maintain accurate log of services rendered
• Create memorable experience during transportation service
• Maintain 4-Star/4-Diamond standards of guest service.
• Accept other special duties as requested by management.
• Assist in keeping front entrance clean and tidy
• Understand all emergency procedures
• Understand all amenities and services offered at the Hotel and local area
• Understand all Moments of Service scenarios

Qualifications:

• Customer Service Oriented
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• Outgoing, friendly personality
• Valid Class C North Carolina License required
• Flexible schedule; including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend in order to lift heavy items
