Job summary

US Foods is seeking a driver to operate tractor trailers delivering various products to remote dispatch sites. Primary duties include safe driving, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and possible backhaul or delivery responsibilities.

Licensed CDL Class A with endorsements and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration is required, with at least 6 months of commercial driving experience and willingness to work overnight.

• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required
• 6 months commercial driving experience required
• Doubles endorsement required (preferred)

What You Bring to the Table

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications

• 6 months commercial driving experience required

• Doubles endorsement required AND minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferred

• Must be comfortable working overnight

• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $25- 30 on a component pay structure.
