Job summary

Auto Warehousing Company, Inc. in Marysville, OH, is hiring 3 Full Time Shuttle Drivers for 2nd shift. This 100% outdoors role involves inspecting, driving and parking customer vehicles in the yard at the Honda facility.

You will work Monday–Friday with overtime as needed, operate in all weather, and train new associates while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to drive automatic transmission vehicles.
• Must pass AWC driver's safety test with ≥80% accuracy.

Responsibilities

We are hiring 3 Full Time Shuttle Drivers- 2nd shift at our Marysville location. This position will be primarily 2nd shift Monday - Friday + mandatory overtime as needed 4:30p- 2a. This is 100% outdoors in all weather.

Summary Of Position

Inspecting, driving and parking of customer vehicles in yard at the Marysville Honda facility.

Essential Functions, Duties And Tasks

• Ensure new vehicles are driven and parked in assigned areas according to manufacturer's specifications
• Inspects cars to detect damage and to verify presence of accessories listed on invoice
• Move vehicles from staging areas to shipping bay location
• Ensure yard quality standards are maintained
• Train new associates and temporary workers
• Must be able to follow directions and consistently follow procedures
• Must adhere to AAR and safety procedures
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a positive behavior and conduct in the workplace while acting and communicating with customers, vendors, co-workers and management
• Ability to work in a variety of situations

General Description

• Associates drive vehicles from various storage lots to shipment areas.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions
• Must be able to move 40-80 vehicles per day
• Walk continuously throughout the day
• Associates must be able to work as a team or individually depending on workload

Education, Experience And Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have and maintain a valid State driver's license and must have a good driving record
• Must be able to drive automatic transmission vehicles
• Must be able to pass the AWC's driver's safety test with an 80% accuracy or better
