This role covers 2nd shift (5:30p-2:30a) at the East Liberty facility, primarily outdoors in all weather, with responsibilities including inspecting, driving, and parking customer vehicles and maintaining yard quality. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid state driver’s license with a good driving record, ability to drive automatics, and passing AWC’s

Responsibilities

• Inspect, drive and park customer vehicles in yard at the East Liberty Honda facility.

• Follow directions and procedures; adhere to safety rules.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers, vendors, co-workers and management.

5 Full Time 2nd Shift Shuttle Drivers for our East Liberty location. This position will be primarily 2nd shift Monday - Friday + mandatory weekends as needed 5:30p-2:30a.

This is 100% outdoors in all weather.

Summary Of Position

• Inspecting, driving and parking of customer vehicles in yard at the East Liberty Honda facility.

Essential Functions, Duties And Tasks

• Ensure new vehicles are driven and parked in assigned areas according to manufacturer's specifications
• Inspects cars to detect damage and to verify presence of accessories listed on invoice
• Move vehicles from staging areas to shipping bay location
• Ensure yard quality standards are maintained
• Train new associates and temporary workers
• Must be able to follow directions and consistently follow procedures
• Must adhere to AAR and safety procedures
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a positive behavior and conduct in the workplace while acting and communicating with customers, vendors, co-workers and management
• Ability to work in a variety of situations

General Description

• Associates drive vehicles from various storage lots to shipment areas.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions
• Must be able to move 40-80 vehicles per day
• Walk continuously throughout the day
• Associates must be able to work as a team or individually depending on workload

Education, Experience And Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have and maintain a valid State driver's license and must have a good driving record
• Must be able to drive automatic transmission vehicles
• Must be able to pass the AWC's driver's safety test with an 80% accuracy or better
