Job summary

Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Shuttle Driver to safely drive, park, and move new vehicles within a distribution yard. You will inspect for damage and verify accessories, while maintaining yard quality standards and following safety procedures.

The role requires the ability to work outside in various weather conditions, move 40-80 vehicles per day, and operate both manual and automatic transmissions. We value teamwork and reliable, safety-focused conduct.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have and maintain a valid State driver’s license and must have a good driving record.
• Must be able to drive both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Must be able to pass the driver’s safety test with an 80% accuracy or better.
• Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to move 40-80 vehicles per day.
• Walk continuously throughout the day.
• Must be a team player and able to work well with others.

• Maintain a positive behavior and conduct in the workplace while acting and communicating with customers, vendors, co-workers and management.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience in a distribution center environment helpful.
• Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments, including other departments, brands, locations, and mandatory overtime.
• Meet productivity standards after successfully completing training.
• Must be a team player and able to work well with others.
• Comply with all safety, hazardous material and OSHA training, rules, and reporting, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time, up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to frequently lift cartons above (up to 8 feet overhead) or below shoulder level.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, and stoop on a repetitive basis.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to include grasping and holding
