Job summary

Auto Warehousing Company, Inc. is seeking 5 full-time Rail Loaders for our East Liberty facility. The role is physically demanding and outdoors year-round, with daytime hours Monday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Loads are completed when finished, typically 8–10 hours per day.

The job involves loading railcars, securing vehicles, inspecting for damage, and following safety standards from the AA Railroad. Training and a strong safety record are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have and maintain a valid State Driver's license.
• Must have a good sense of balance and maintain 3 points of contact.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to pass the AWC Safe Driving and Rail Safety tests with 80% or higher accuracy.
• Must be able to work in tight spaces when loading vehicles.
• Must be able to work at heights approximately 15 feet above the ground.

Responsibilities

We are hiring 5 Full Time Rail Loaders for our East Liberty location. This position will be primarily days Monday - Saturday 6a-4p to when the loads are done (usually 8-10 hours). This is very physical work and this is 100% outdoors in all weather.

Summary Of Position

This position prepares railcars for loading, drives vehicles onto proper railcars, secures vehicles to railcars according to manufacturer and American Association of Railroad standards, and prepares railcars for transportation at the East Liberty Honda facility.

Education, Experience, And Minimum Requirements

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have and maintain a valid State Driver's license
