Job summary

Kable Workforce Solutions is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely move and park new vehicles within a yard setting in Raymond, OH. You will inspect vehicles, verify accessories, and help maintain yard quality standards while adhering to safety procedures.

The role requires outdoor work in various weather, the ability to move 40–80 vehicles daily, and the stamina to stand up to 10 hours. Training and overtime flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Able to pass driver safety test with 80% accuracy or better.
• Able to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Move 40–80 vehicles per day.

Job Brief

Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Shuttle Driver for our client. In this role, you will safely drive, park, and move new vehicles within a distribution or shipping yard. You will also inspect vehicles for damage, verify listed accessories, and help maintain yard quality standards.

What's a Typical Day Like?

• Ensure new vehicles are driven and parked in assigned areas according to manufacturer's specifications
• Inspects cars to detect damage and to verify presence of accessories listed on invoice
• Move vehicles from staging areas to shipping bay location
• Ensure yard quality standards are maintained
• Must be able to follow directions and consistently follow procedures
• Must adhere to AAR and safety procedures
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a positive behavior and conduct in the workplace while acting and communicating with customers, vendors, co-workers and management

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have and maintain a valid State driver's license and must have a good driving record
• Must be able to pass the driver's safety test with an 80% accuracy or better
• Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions
• Must be able to move 40-80 vehicles per day
• Walk continuously throughout the day
• Associates must be able to work as a team or individually depending on workload
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience in a distribution center environment helpful.
• Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments, including other departments, brands, locations, and mandatory overtime.
• Meet productivity standards after successfully completing training.
• Must be a team player and able to work well with others.
• Comply with all safety, hazardous material and OSHA training, rules, and reporting, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time, up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, and stoop on a repetitive basis.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to include grasping and holding
