Job summary

Propark Mobility is seeking an On-Call Shuttle Driver with a valid CDL-B and passenger endorsement to serve the Residences at Yerba Buena Island in San Francisco, California. The role pays $28.00 per hour and requires a current medical certificate.

You will greet passengers, assist with loading, perform pre/post trip inspections, communicate with dispatch, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Flexible, on-call shifts may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License for at least 5 years.
• CDL Class-B with passenger endorsement and current medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
• Greets passengers and assists with loading/unloading.
• Operates the shuttle bus safely and complies with traffic/safety regulations.
• Monitors vehicle condition and records issues.
• Communicates routes and delays via two-way radio.
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections.
• Monitors traffic/weather and notifies dispatch of issues.
• Reports accidents to dispatch or supervisor.
• Treats customers courteously and professionally.

On-Call Shuttle Driver CDL Needed!!!!!

Wage: $28.00 Per Hour

Location: Residences at Yerba Buena Island San Francisco, California

Shift: ON-Call

Must Haves: Commercial Driver's License Required

CDL CLASS B with a PASSENGER ENDORSEMENT and Current Medical Certificate

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To)

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
• Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
• Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
• Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
• Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
• Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
• Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.

Minimum Job Qualifications

• High school degree or GED equivalent.
• Must have possessed a valid Driver’s License for at least 5 years.
• Must currently possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class-B with passenger endorsement.
• Must be able to provide a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 3-years.
• One year experience driving shuttle bus or commercial vehicles preferred.
• Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment depending upon customer volume, shift, season, etc.
• Possess positive and professional attitude with strong communication skills.
