Job Summary Details:

The Shuttle Driver transports passengers to and from designated locations, which may include airports, commercial buildings, hospitals, sports arenas, entertainment venues, educational facilities, or warehouses.

Pay:

$27.27 per hour

The listed hourly rate varies based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data.

MUST HAVE A CLASS A AND/OR CLASS B CDL DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH PASSENGER ENDORSEMENT AND AIRBRAKES.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
• Role may require a CDL with specific class and endorsement

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of prior experience as a passenger shuttle driver is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Transport, load, and unload passengers at designated pick-up and drop-off locations
• Ensure safe loading/unloading, including handling specialized equipment for passengers with needs (e.g., wheelchair lifts)
• Assist passengers with luggage as needed
• Inspect vehicles regularly for safety and maintenance issues; perform routine cleaning and maintenance
• Assist patrons at airport locations and lots
• Inspect shuttles for damage, record information electronically or manually
• Provide excellent customer service, respond courteously to inquiries, give directions
• Enforce bus evacuation plans and coordinate evacuation activities
• Report incidents or claims immediately to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead
• Refuel and maintain shuttle equipment and logs
• Maintain a clean environment, disinfect shuttle after each use
• Conduct pre- and post-inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT standards

This position is suitable for individuals entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. ABM is veteran-friendly; military experience is encouraged. Military Occupational Specialty Codes include 88M, LS, 3531, 2T1X1.
