Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to provide safe and friendly transportation for residents across our resort-style communities in Raleigh, NC. You’ll support daily appointments, activities, and outings while keeping rider safety as a top priority.

The role emphasizes reliability, punctuality, and compassionate service in a close-knit environment. Ideal candidates are at least 25 with a valid license and clean driving record, comfortable with GPS and paper

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years or older with a valid driver''s license and clean driving record.
• Part-time schedule around 20 hours per week with flexible availability.
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm in a busy environment.
• Solid knowledge of the local area to plan efficient routes.
• Ability to use navigation tools, including electronic and paper maps.

Responsibilities

• Provide dependable transportation that helps residents stay active, engaged, and independent.
• Assist residents with mobility needs by safely operating the wheelchair lift and securing wheelchairs.
• Keep rides running on time by managing transportation requests and reducing wait times.
• Maintain a well-kept, safe shuttle bus through routine cleaning and scheduled inspections.
• Support the team during downtime by taking on small maintenance or custodial tasks.
