Job summary

ABM Industries is hiring a Shuttle Attendant to greet and assist passengers, manage queues, and coordinate with drivers to ensure safe and orderly shuttle operations. You will provide directions, help passengers, and monitor behavior while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

The Shuttle Attendant will provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting passengers as they board and exit the shuttle bus. Manage staff queues, communicate with drivers via radio, and help maintain safe and organized parking and designated waiting areas. Provide directions, including walking routes to JPMC, assist with locating staff vehicles, and ensure passenger safety and comfort during transit. Monitor passenger behavior, assist with belongings as needed, support boarding and emergency procedures, maintain bus cleanliness, and promptly report incidents, emergencies, or maintenance concerns to supervisors.

• Support the driver with boarding procedures and emergency protocols

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old age.
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must present well
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to understand English/Spanish (no mandatory)
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
• Physically able to assist passengers and handle luggage
• Dependable, punctual, and attentive to safety protocols
• Previous experience in a customer-facing or transportation role preferred ndards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
