nVent in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Machine Operator - Shuster to operate and maintain Shuster forming equipment, perform setups, monitor quality, and support continuous improvement on a fast-paced manufacturing line.

You will read blueprints and production docs, measure parts with calipers and gauges, and ensure safety while meeting daily schedules. This 2nd shift role offers starting pay of $23.00 per hour, with up to $2.00 shift differential for a potential $25.00 hourly rate.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of manufacturing or machine operating experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and production documents.
• Ability to use calipers, gauges, and tape measures.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Shuster forming machinery to meet daily production schedules and customer requirements.
• Perform machine setup, tooling changes, and equipment adjustments in accordance with production specifications.
• Load raw materials and monitor production runs to ensure efficiency and product quality.
• Inspect finished products using measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor machine and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Follow all safety procedures and proactively identify and report potential hazards.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities that support operational excellence and waste reduction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
