Job summary

Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas seeks an Usher to greet guests, check tickets, and guide seating for shows. The role requires strong customer service, attentiveness, and the ability to work in a dynamic theater environment.

You will monitor show stations, assist with evacuations if needed, and ensure guests have an exceptional experience from entry to exit. A 21+ requirement and prior theater or customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with guests before, during and after the show.
• Check and scan tickets.
• Welcome guests and direct them to their seating location.
• Monitor seating sections to ensure an excellent experience.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Monitor stations to prevent disruptive behavior (photos, recordings).
• Handle guest complaints and escalate as needed.
• Be knowledgeable of theater layout and show times.
• Sweep theater for lost and found items after shows.
• Enforce house rules consistently.
• Monitor entry and exit doors.
• Remain at assigned post unless on break.
• Assist guests in an emergency evacuation if needed.

Job description

Reporting to the Showroom Supervisor, the Usher will be required to:

• Greet and engage with guests before, during and after the show.
• Check and scan tickets.
• Welcome guests and direct them to their seating location.
• Monitor each seating section to ensure our guests have an excellent experience.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Watch stations throughout the show to monitor guest behavior including taking pictures, recording or disrupting those around them.
• Handle guest complaints and escalation as needed.
• Be knowledgeable of theater layout and show times.
• Visually sweep the theater at the end of the shows for lost and found items.
• Be aware of and enforce appropriate house rules.
• Monitor door and guest entry and exit.
• Remain at assigned post throughout the show/event unless taking an assigned break.
• Maintain a good understanding of evacuation procedures and be able to assist guests in an emergency evacuation situation.

Job Experience / Education:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of showroom theater experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year of customer service-related experience preferred.
• Candidates must be a minimum of 21 years or older.
