Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive inside Sales Support & Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout the supply chain. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and collaboration with various departments and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, including transportation and warehouse management.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Store and organize inventory following management protocols.
• Assist in sales support activities such as updating showroom samples, materials, literature, creating labels, and answering calls.
• Communicate with sales staff regarding product availability, lead times, and delays.
• Manage order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Work with third-party logistics providers to optimize routes and reduce costs.
• Maintain communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams about shipment schedules.
• Analyze logistics data to identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in logistics coordination or warehouse management is a plus.
• Handle returns, inbound shipments, outbound orders, labeling, and notify sales of incoming products.
• Excellent organizational skills with effective prioritization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Spec Books is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and occasionally heavier objects.
• Must be able to:
• Lift objects of various sizes and weights.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
• Handle tools or equipment.
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
