• Closing & Transactions: Manage POS, deposits, and coordinate delivery or pickup details.
• Showroom Presentation: Maintain a clean, stylish, and organized sales floor with pristine displays and tags.
• Client Relationship Management: Follow up post-delivery, manage quotes, and encourage repeat business.
• Inventory & Team Support: Track floor inventory, tag arrivals, and relay customer feedback to management.
• Product Expertise: Understand inventory including wood types, joinery, materials, warranty info and care.
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures.

As a Showroom Sales Associate, you will serve as the face of our showroom, guiding customers through their shopping needs. We pride ourselves on delivering an elevated, personalized shopping experience for every client who walks through our doors. Your goal is to build lasting relationships, assist clients with space planning, seamless follow-up on orders, and ensure our showroom looks immaculate and inspiring. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Consultative Selling: Greet showroom visitors warmly, listen to their design goals and space constraints, and expertly guide them through our furniture and decor collections.
• Design & Custom Orders: Assist clients with room layout, finish selections, fabric swatches, and custom-built furniture specifications.
• Closing & Transactions: Manage point-of-sale transactions, process deposits, and coordinate delivery or customer pickup details accurately.
• Showroom Presentation: Maintain a clean, beautifully styled, and organized sales floor. Ensure displays, lighting, and price tags are pristine.
• Client Relationship Management: Follow up with customers post-delivery to ensure satisfaction, manage open quotes, and nurture repeat and referral business.
• Inventory & Team Support: Partner with management to track floor inventory, properly tag new arrivals, and relay customer experiences back to our management team.
• Product Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of our inventory - including wood types, joinery, materials, warranty information and care instructions.
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Retail & Sales Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in retail sales, interior design, home furnishings, or a customer-centric environment.
• Design Eye: A strong appreciation for furniture design, home decor, and interior aesthetics.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and listening skills with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor - a team player.
• Organization: Strong attention to detail, basic computer/POS literacy, and the ability to multitask in a retail environment.
