Job summary

DARCARS of Silver Spring is seeking an Automotive Receptionist to be the front-line representative for the dealership, greeting showroom guests and routing inquiries with professionalism. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Spanish bilingual is a plus; a valid driver’s license is typically required, and evenings/weekends may be needed. This is an on-site position at the Silver Spring dealership.

Qualifications

• Must speak clearly and convey professionalism to callers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet showroom customers and determine the nature of their visit.
• Direct customers to the correct department or salesperson.
• Answer basic inquiries and refer advanced questions.
• Enter data into the prospect tracking system.
• Manage the switchboard and professional caller communication.
• Take thorough messages with caller details and distribute promptly.
• Update the company telephone roster and perform clerical duties.
• Serve as showroom greeter and handle other duties as assigned.
• Process transaction receipts for sales and service if applicable.
