Showroom Manager
Position Summary

Our partner is seeking a Showroom Manager to lead the daily operations of their showroom and create an exceptional experience for homeowners, builders, remodelers, designers, and contractors. This individual will serve as the primary leader of the showroom team, overseeing customer engagement, merchandising, project coordination, vendor relationships, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven leader who enjoys helping customers bring projects to life while building a high-performing team and maintaining a welcoming, organized, and inspiring showroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all day-to-day showroom operations, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Manage, coach, and develop showroom staff while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service.
  • Establish and maintain operational processes, standards, and performance expectations.
  • Monitor showroom appearance, cleanliness, product displays, and merchandising to ensure a professional and engaging environment.
  • Coordinate scheduling and staffing to ensure proper showroom coverage.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners visiting the showroom.
  • Guide customers through product selections and project planning while ensuring a consultative, solution-oriented experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and proactively.
  • Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Assist customers with product selections, specifications, pricing requests, and order coordination.
  • Track and communicate project status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor showroom inventory levels and coordinate replenishment needs.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational documentation.
  • Utilize company systems to manage customer information, project tracking, and reporting.
  • Support budgeting and expense management related to showroom operations.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a showroom, retail, building materials, home improvement, design, construction, or related environment.
  • Prior experience within building materials, lumber, windows, doors, millwork, cabinetry, flooring, or related industries is strongly preferred.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working with key contacts within the construction contractor space.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management software.
