Job summary

Lansing Building Products, LLC is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to serve as the showroom’s primary customer contact and drive orders. You will answer inquiries, prepare quotes for windows and exterior products, and develop product knowledge to deliver exceptional service.

Strong teamwork and ability to lift up to 70 pounds are required. The role uses our national inventory system to fill orders and may require warehouse assistance.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• High integrity and commitment to customer service.
• Interest in sales/retail based on experience or education.
• Able to work with customers in a team and alone.
• Computer skills including keyboard and monitor usage.
• Goal-oriented with willingness to take on new challenges.
• Knowledge of building principles and products is a plus.
• Able to lift and carry building materials up to 70 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for showroom customers.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, answer inquiries and process orders.
• Prepare quotes for windows and exterior building products.
• Develop knowledge of Lansing's products and services to provide exceptional service.
• Use the inventory system to fill orders and manage stock levels.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed, including loading and unloading materials.
