Job summary

Babylist in New York City is hiring Showroom Hosts for our new SoHo showroom. You will help guests build registries, guide product choices, and ensure a warm, memorable experience from start to finish.

This on-site role reports to the Showroom Manager. A 2-year retail/guest service background and weekend availability are required; training runs Aug 31– Sep 24 with no time off during this window.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail or guest service role.
• Energetic, friendly, and upbeat attitude.
• Passion to deliver excellent customer experience with warm connections.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.
• Excellent communication with teammates and guests.
• Thrives in dynamic environment with multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays; weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Be a Babylist ambassador by delivering exceptional service and guiding guests in the showroom.
• Assist guests with product selection and registry creation using product knowledge.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on features, benefits, and safety guidelines.
• Support guest experience with retail systems and Babylist registries knowledge.
• Help with showroom operations like events, inventory receiving, visual merchandising, and upkeep.
• Meet and exceed guest satisfaction and product knowledge goals.
• Collaborate with the Showroom team to improve the showroom experience.
