Stylehouse Furnishings is seeking a friendly Showroom Sales Associate to lead customers through furniture and decor selections. You will build relationships, assist with room layouts, and ensure orders are followed through to delivery while maintaining an inviting showroom.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, product knowledge, and delivering a personalized shopping experience for every client who visits our store.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail sales experience or customer-focused role.
• Desire and ability to assist with space planning basics.

Responsibilities

• Consultative selling: Greet showroom visitors warmly, listen to design goals and guide through furniture and decor collections.
• Design & custom orders: Assist clients with room layout, finish selections, fabric swatches, and custom-built furniture specs.
• Closing & transactions: Manage POS transactions, deposits, and coordinate delivery or pickup details.
• Showroom presentation: Maintain a clean, styled showroom with accurate price tags.
• Client relationship management: Follow up with customers post-delivery to ensure satisfaction and nurture repeat business.
• Inventory & team support: Tag new arrivals and relay customer experiences to management.
• Product expertise: Maintain knowledge of wood types, joinery, materials, care instructions.
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures.
