Job summary

Designer’s Library is seeking a knowledgeable Sales Associate to guide design clients in Kansas City’s premier showroom. You will leverage your product expertise across 100+ lines to create inspiring, on-target solutions for interior and exterior spaces.

You will cultivate authentic client relationships, coordinate multiple projects, and collaborate with colleagues to drive business growth while delivering exceptional customer experiences in a friendly, design-forward environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in sales and/or customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail for managing design projects.
• Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft 365 suite.

Responsibilities

• Exceed sales targets through exceptional customer service and consultative support
• Apply in-depth knowledge of 100+ product lines to source and price items for client projects
• Draft precise, detailed sales and purchase orders that support each client's design vision
• Manage and maintain vendor order information throughout the project lifecycle
• Partner with the team to curate product selections for the showroom floor
• Assist in designing and arranging furniture vignettes to showcase the showroom's offerings
• Cultivate and sustain long‑term client relationships
