Job summary

Edmonds Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Shower Aide CNA to assist residents with bathing, personal care, and safety-focused support in a respectful setting.

You will help with transfers, document care in the EHR, and monitor wellbeing while upholding HIPAA standards. Full-time and part-time shifts available, including weekends, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license valid in Washington State (required).
• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings preferred.
• Comfort with medical documentation and terminology.
• Familiarity with EHR systems like Epic or Cerner a plus.
• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or memory care a plus.
• Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist residents with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, showering, and personal hygiene routines, ensuring safety and comfort throughout.
• Support safe transfers using Hoyer lifts, transfer belts, and other mobility aids.
• Monitor and record vital signs, skin condition, and overall wellbeing during care.
• Follow infection control protocols to keep care areas clean and safe.
• Document care accurately in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar), maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate promptly with nursing staff about any changes in a resident's condition or behavior.
• Offer emotional support and companionship during care, keeping dignity and respect front and center.

Shower Aide CNA – $23-$30/hour

Shifts Available:

• Full-time - M-F - 6 AM-2 PM
• Part-time - Weekends
