In this role, your primary responsibility is assisting residents with bathing and showering while ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety. Basic requirements:

• Must be currently certified in Washington State as a NAC

• Must maintain an active certification in good standing throughout employment

• Ability to pass a background check
  

Specific Job Requirements

• Must have compassion, patience, tact and a pleasant disposition

• Must demonstrate exceptional dependability with attendance, job performance and personal interactions

• Must have proficiency in all patient care areas including but not limited to: resident bathing and showering, patient rights, and safety and sanitation

• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, visitors and vendors

• Maintains confidentiality of information

• Must understand and follow company policies including harassment, social media and compliance procedures

Essential Functions

• Provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment which promotes resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice and their individuality

• Ensure that individualized care plans are followed to assist residents to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental and psychosocial well being

• Attend to the individual needs of residents including bathing, showering, personal hygiene, transfers, mobility, weights, vital signs and other duties as assigned

• Maintain infection control procedures utilizing PPE and proper disposal of soiled material

• Maintain a safe workplace through good body mechanics, participating in fire/safety disaster plans, correcting and/or reporting unsafe conditions

• Complete requirements for in-service training

• Cooperate with co-workers and supervisors for completion of job duties with minimal direction
