Job summary

Walt Disney Imagineering invites applications for a Show Lighting Design internship in Anaheim, CA or Orlando, FL. You will work with a team researching, designing, installing, testing and documenting lighting projects that support the creative vision for attractions and venues.

Under supervision, you will develop lighting designs, prepare basic lighting schemes, troubleshoot in construction environments, and support Lighting Designers.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience with theatrical or architectural lighting.
• Experience with AutoCAD & Revit.
• Computer literacy with MS Office products.
• Ability to work as a member of a technical team.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, under supervision, designs of show lighting.
• Prepare, under supervision, basic lighting design and field implementation.
• Troubleshoot and install existing lighting in a construction environment.
• Provide general support to Lighting Designers.
