Walt Disney Imagineering is seeking a Show Lighting Design intern to contribute to lighting concepts for attractions and other experiences. You will work with a cross-disciplinary team to research, design, install, and test lighting solutions for Disney properties in Anaheim, CA or Orlando, FL.

The role offers hands-on learning with supervision, involving design development, field implementation, and troubleshooting in a dynamic project environment. A related college program is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with theatrical or architectural lighting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• MS Office proficiency and teamwork.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, under supervision, designs of show lighting.
• Prepare, under supervision, basic lighting design and field implementation.
• Troubleshoot and install existing lighting in a construction environment.
• Provide general support to Lighting Designers.
