Job summary

Mubea, a global automotive supplier, is seeking a Shotpeen Machine Operator in Florence, KY. The role involves operating shotpeen and related equipment, using a forklift, performing changeovers, and troubleshooting production issues in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates will read and interpret job docs, handle multiple tasks, and have basic math skills for English/metric conversions. Training on CNC/PLC and SPC is provided to support process improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand job documentation.
• Physical coordination to lift and move product.
• Trainable with forklift truck.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
• Math ability, including conversions (English & Metric units).
• Ability to read, use and understand measuring devices to .1mm.
• Ability to understand machine computer functions.
• Trainable with CNC, PLC controls and SPC documentation.
• Knowledge of HPP equipment and tools, procedures including their designs, uses and benefits.
• Ability to make a rough fault analysis.

Responsibilities

• Operate shotpeen machine and related equipment.
• Use of a fork truck and various hand tools.
• Perform changeovers and tool adjustments.
• Work on feet for extended periods and participate in off-shift production.
• Document paperwork related to production.
