Job summary

SCHERDEL North America is seeking a VCT Machine Operator in Muskegon, MI to load and operate shot peening equipment, ensuring quality and quantity targets are met. The role requires reading blueprints, attention to detail, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

You will train under supervision and follow SCHERDEL SST quality/environmental standards while maintaining proper records and participating in continuous improvement efforts. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints or hand sketches or works from verbal or written instruction.
• Duties autonomously with attention to detail and willingness to work overtime.
• Work under supervision of Production Supervisor and Team Leader.
• Follow SCHERDEL SST quality and environmental standards.
• Keep count of completed product on each run and dispose of spoilage properly.
• Maintain SST processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Load and operate shot peening machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain required quality and production quantities.
• Complete department paperwork as required.
