Job summary

Mubea in Florence, AL seeks a production technician familiar with forklift operation, machining tools, and changeovers. The role includes reading work orders, performing adjustments, and maintaining paperwork.

Candidates should be comfortable with dual shifts, physical tasks, and calculating in English and metric units. Experience with CNC/PLC controls and SPC documentation is preferred, as is knowledge of HPP equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand job documentation.
• Physical coordination to lift and move product.
• Trainable with forklift truck.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Written and oral communication with attention to detail.
• Math ability, including English and metric conversions.
• Read, use and understand measuring devices to 0.1 mm.
• Understand machine computer functions.
• Trainable with CNC, PLC controls and SPC documentation.
• Knowledge of HPP equipment and tools and their designs, uses and benefits.
• Ability to perform rough fault analysis.

Responsibilities

• Use of a fork truck.
• Use of gauges, Allen wrenches, etc.
• Perform changeovers and tooling adjustments.
• Work on feet for extended periods.
• Self sufficiency and mechanically informed decision making.
• Complete paperwork related to production.
• Work off-shift as required.
• Support machine and process readiness for production.
