Cherry Creek School District is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide instruction and manage a classroom in the regular teacher's absence, following provided lesson plans, and ensuring a safe learning environment.

The role involves daily instructional delivery, behavior supervision, collaboration with staff, and performing additional duties as assigned, with an emphasis on a flexible, team-oriented approach within a Colorado school district setting.

Formación

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma is required/expected
• Colorado substitute authorization or teaching license
• Basic knowledge of typical office equipment (phones, copiers, fax, email)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Basic classroom management and planning skills
• Basic organizational skills
• Intermediate verbal and written communication and interpersonal relations
• Ability to support programs designed to increase student achievement
• Ability and desire to work as a team member
• Ability to understand, appreciate, and accommodate student diversity

Responsabilidades

• Instruct students in large, small, and one-on-one settings daily.
• Create a classroom environment that maximizes instructional opportunity; supervise behavior and well-being; administer discipline when appropriate.
• Collaborate with teachers, support personnel, administrators, and colleagues to enhance instruction and student outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
