Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Substitute Para Educator to provide instructional support within classrooms for students with varying needs. The role involves working under a licensed staff member and may include non-classroom duties as required.

Responsibilities include one-on-one and small group tutoring, promoting student engagement, and assisting with life skills and communication strategies. CPR/First Aid certification preferred, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work one-on-one or in small groups with students.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• General office equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and small group instruction to students in various settings.
• Provides physical care and assistance as needed (e.g., toileting, feeding, positioning).
• Maintains records of student progress and behavior.
• Operates instructional equipment such as computers, AV, and other school tools.
• Maintains clean, hygienic work environment and confidentiality of student information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
