Job summary

Bleacher Breaks is seeking an editor to join our Social Media Manager in an editing-first role. The majority of your week will be short-form video editing and graphic work at high volume with a consistent turnaround.

Beyond editing, you will contribute across the content operation, with room to grow into broader content strategy. The core is turning footage into finished content, day in and day out, including on-site shoots and live breaks.

Qualifications

• Experience editing short-form video for social platforms.
• Ability to meet tight daily turnaround times with high quality.
• Strong sense of pacing, captions, and hooks for mobile feeds.

Responsibilities

• Cut short-form videos for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts at high volume.
• Review raw footage and pull moments worth posting with strong hooks.
• Build graphics, thumbnails, and static posts in Photoshop; maintain on-brand templates.
• Manage project files, exports, and turnaround times; collaborate with the content team.
• Write captions in our voice and adapt content for on-site shoots.
