Icon Global Media is seeking a Short-Form Video Editor for YouTube & Social to craft engaging cuts from provided concepts and brand guidelines. You will work with our lead editor to transform footage into platform-ready content for clients including Bryson DeChambeau.

The role emphasizes storytelling, pacing, and audience psychology, with responsibilities from ingesting footage to final exports, color grading, and sound design.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in social media video editing.
• Expert level using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, organize, sync, label, and manage footage and assets.
• Shape videos with strong storytelling and pacing to maximize engagement.
• Create platform-native edits with strong pacing, reactions, and viewer payoff.
• Rework long-form into short-form edits.
• Add graphics, transitions, subtitles, music, and sound effects.
• Perform audio cleanup and level mixing.
• Prepare final exports and maintain project organization.
• Collaborate with lead editor and project leads to improve each video.
• Stay current with editing trends and platform changes.
• Review edits before handoff to catch errors.
• Adapt style to channel, talent, and performance goals.
