Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is hiring a Shopkeeper in Lexington, Kentucky. The role leads the Shop team, trains staff, and models exceptional customer service, while managing inventory, scheduling, and HR tasks. A strong leader maintains service quality through busy periods and late nights.

Open to weekend/variable shifts, the Shopkeeper also drives accountability, supports development, and ensures a welcoming, clean shop aligned with our mission and culture.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is searching for a Shopkeeper to join our upcoming Lexington, Kentucky team.

The job of the Shopkeeper is to lead the Shop team by training and role modeling exceptional customer service, beautiful scooping, hustling through lines and late night deep cleaning, and treating all customers and team members with care and respect. Shopkeepers are full-time employees also responsible for accounting, scheduling, inventory/ordering, and all HR functions (hiring, training, development, and performance management of all team members). This full-time position also involves working variable shifts, including opening shifts, closing shifts, and/or weekend shifts.

• Prior management experience, particularly in the service industry, is a plus but is not required
