Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT Field Support specialist to provide hands-on end-user IT assistance across multiple sites, with a focus on the shop floor. You will install and configure devices, support Windows and macOS, manage asset records in CMDB, and collaborate on production IT projects.

You will coordinate with IT teams, monitor systems, and assist with rollout support and knowledge transfer. Strong English communication and local language skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in IT field support or end-user computing.
• Hands-on experience with Windows/macOS device support and configuration.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and remote support tools.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing platforms (ServiceNow or equivalent).
• Business-level English; local language required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support for end-user devices, peripherals, and workplace equipment across assigned sites.
• Execute shop floor IT tasks: device installations, replacements, connectivity checks, and remediation on the production floor.
• Collaborate with Shopfloor IT team on manufacturing and supply chain IT projects and requirements analysis.
• Develop and expand monitoring solutions in the shopfloor environment; optimize support processes.
• Manage external suppliers from an IT perspective, especially remote maintenance for production systems.
• Resolve escalated incidents that require on-site presence, including handover and end-user training.
• Support device lifecycle activities: new device setup, asset tagging, decommissioning, collection.
• Maintain accurate asset records for on-site equipment (update CMDB).
• Coordinate with IT Foundation for on-site infrastructure activities (network/security patches, troubleshooting).
• Support IT projects with local presence for rollout support and knowledge transfer.
• Escalate complex issues to expert teams and external providers.
• Adhere to change management and documentation standards for all field activities.
