Dave Steel Company, a Walters Group Company, seeks a Shop Helper for our Asheville Fabrication Facility on the 1st shift. You will transport material, operate forklifts, and manage paperwork for outgoing loads while supporting inventory control and staging for painting, galvanizing and shipping.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and follow written instructions, and a valid readiness to pass Random DOT & Company drug tests.

• Able to pass Random DOT & Company drug test.
• Good math skills.

Responsabilités

• Transport material through the shop/yard.
• Forklift operation.
• Fill out and maintain paperwork for outgoing loads.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Unload incoming material.
• Perform yard receiving and inventory control.
• Pull material for production.
• Stage and prepare loads for painting, galvanizing, and shipping.
• Ensure quality of processed materials during handling.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
