CTR Group is seeking a Shop Welder in Richmond, VA for immediate openings. You will lay out, fit, and weld fabricated steel frames per blueprints, and weld in multiple positions, using MIG/TIG processes. Responsibilities include inspecting welds and operating lifting equipment, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Strong measurement skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated steel frames and parts per blueprints.
• Weld in vertical, flat, horizontal, and overhead positions.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and conformance to specs.
• Operate cranes/hoists and use PPE as required.
• Perform finishing and grinding as needed.
