CTR Group in Portsmouth, VA is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Aluminum Welder & Fabricator to join our shop team. Pay range is $24-$28 per hour, with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role involves welding aluminum parts to close tolerances, fabricating components, and repairing assemblies. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years welding experience with aluminum MIG/TIG, blueprint reading, and independent work capability.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience in welding aluminum MIG and TIG.
• Completion of Welding School program preferred but not required.
• Experience reading blueprints and welding symbols; able to work from blueprints.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Join, fabricate and repair aluminum parts to close tolerances using layout techniques and blueprints.
• Set up MIG/TIG welding equipment and perform welds per specifications.
• Inspect welds and ensure quality and safety standards.

Summary

Seeking a skilled MIG TIG Welder / Fabricator to use welding processes to join, fabricate and repair aluminum parts to close tolerances using layout techniques and blueprints.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in welding processes: Aluminum MIG and TIG and FabricationCompletion of Welding School program preferred but not required.
• Both MIG and TIG experience preferred, but one or the other is acceptable.
• Work from blueprintsKnowledge of welding symbolsMust be able to work independently.
