Job summary

Fedtech, Inc. is hiring a General Shop Assistant to support overall shop operations, performing secondary operations, basic machining, and general cleanup. The role is flexible and may be assigned to different duties throughout the shop as needed.

This is a full-time position on a Monday-Thursday night shift (2:30pm – 1:00am). Essential functions include deburring, grinding, loading and unloading materials, removing parts from machines, operating drill presses and mills for light machining,

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform secondary operations such as deburring, grinding, cleaning, counting, and packaging parts.
• Load and unload materials onto machines.
• Remove parts from machines.
• Operate basic machinery such as drill presses and mills for light machining tasks.
• Assist machine operators as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
