Westinghouse Electric Company in New Stanton, PA is seeking a Shop Technician II to perform machining, assembly, and inspection duties on site. The role reports to the Assistant Area Manager, Mechanical and requires on-site work five days a week at the New Stanton facility.

The candidate will operate CNC tools, set up equipment, fabricate fixtures, and verify dimensions using precision measuring devices. A US Journeyman Certification and lifting capability are required.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience with electrical, mechanical, machining or inspection skills.
• Specific knowledge of electrical or mechanical drawings, or machining plus required mathematics.
• United States Department of Labor Journeyman Certification.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more.

• Verify semi-complex dimensions with measuring instruments and analyze specifications.
• Comprehend advanced fundamentals of mechanical parts and equipment.
• Set up and operate machine tools, surface grinders, lathes and milling machines.
• Program, Set-Up and Operate CNC Machine Tools.
• Design and fabricate fixtures for machining.
• Maintain ANSI Level I Certification for Mechanical Testing and Inspection.
