Job summary

Harmon is hiring for a full-time manufacturing associate responsible for metal and glass fabrications, assembly, and packaging with hands-on duties. You will read shop drawings, operate forklifts and cranes, cut and assemble framing materials, and ensure items are packaged and shipped accurately.

The role requires teamwork, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced setting. Overtime is available, with 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1-2 years of related work experience; or equivalent education.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Curtain wall industry experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to a safe & enjoyable work environment.
• Able to work collaboratively with a team.
• Must be able to walk, bend, twist, squat and climb on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift between 30 and 60 pounds.
• Interpret fabrication drawings.
• Translate instructions into CNC commands.

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings and blueprints to fabricate frames.
• Load and unload trucks by hand, forklift, and crane.
• Cut, fabricate, and assemble window framing material.
• Inspect and package frames prior to shipment.
• Stage products and manage inventory.
• Maintain daily productivity goals.
• Participate in 5S and keep the work area organized.
